RAINBOW REFUGEES HAMBURG

is a self-organized group of refugees and Germans who live in Hamburg and the surrounding area.

We volunteer for LGBTIQ * refugees. We advise and support you.

We come from Syria, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Sudan and Germany.

We speak Arabic, Kurdish, Farsi, Dari, Turkish, English and German.

WE ADVISE, SUPPORT AND ACCOMPANY YOU,

  • if you have been the victim of discrimination or violence because of your sexual orientation or gender identity,
  • if you have problems in your accommodation (e.g. in the "camp", in your flat share or in your family),
  • when dealing with authorities, your hearing at the BAMF, your court proceedings,
  • in the event of problems with official documents and in the search for language courses, training and jobs,
  • when it comes to your mental and physical health.

We have information about sexual health - also in your language. And a network of doctors who can help you.

Even if you just want to chat or get to know other refugees, please contact us.

The consultation takes place at a secure anonymous location of your choice under the current Corona hygiene conditions. Whether in an office, outdoors on a walk or virtually via video chat - that is up to you.

Just contact us: by phone, email, WhatsApp or our website.

If the corona pandemic allows it again, we will also offer a regular group meeting for LGBTIQ * refugees in a safe place. We will then inform you of the relevant hygiene regulations and where and when it will take place.
